The APIA community is rich in its own diversity, where the colors and textures of each ethnic group make up the cultural vibrancy of the whole. And as the community continues to grow and mature, the community recognizes the need to connect, share our stories and have our perspectives be heard.
This year, the APA Heritage Awards honors those individuals and organizations that have been effective community voices; they have achieved distinct impact in helping to enrich the APA community as well as serving as the community's ambassadors to the world.
It is the APA Heritage Celebration Committee's hope that this year's theme and awards program will inspire and encourage the next generation of leaders to be engaged in the community and be effective voices.
