During San Francisco’s official celebration event of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month
ceremony on May 3, 2010, the 2010 Asian Pacific American Heritage Awards were announced:

For Emerging Leadership: Thomas Li
For Lifetime Achievement: Dr. Edward Chow
For Community Impact: Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center

The Awards winners as well as all the finalists received special commendations during the San Francisco Board of Supervisors meeting on May 4, 2010.
